I would really appreciate it very much if you do NOT post my
cosplay pictures on other websites without my permission.
Here you will find my cosplay. Click on the thumbnails

So far none of my costumes are 100% made by myself. I
always style the wigs myself, make wings myself (if the
character has wings), handsew some details of the costume
and also make muslin mock-ups of costume pieces where you
definitely don't find a pattern for (like for example Sierra's
cape or Suigintou's skirt with the 6 panels) that I give to
my seamstress so that she can make that costume piece exactly
like I want.
When I want to commission something from my
seamstress, I write down on several papers how I want
every exact detail of my costume, accompanied by drawings
that I drew myself, and I also write down how I do not
want my costume (again accompanied by drawings). Also I
(and not my seamstress) choose and buy the fabrics and materials
myself.
In the future I'm going try to
make some costumes or at least some parts of it (depends on
the difficulty level of the costume) myself. However, if
in the future there's a costume
that I really love but that's very difficult to make then
I'm going to commission it again because with my lack of
talent there's no way I would be able to make a very difficult
costume.
Please note that I agree 200 percent that
participating in competitions with commissioned costumes
is totally unfair and I would NEVER do that!
But as long as you don't enter competitions with it
and don't claim that you made it yourself there's
absolutely nothing wrong with wearing a commissioned
costume and those elitist losers who
bitch about cosplayers who wear commissioned costumes (even
when those cosplayers would never enter competitions with
it and would never claim that they made it) can just
go to hell with their elitist bullshit in my opinion. :p
Just ignore them and have fun with your commissioned
costume I say. :p
